I believe that the art room can develop students into productive, free-thinking individuals who strive to be positive, pro-active members of society through the healthy development of self-esteem and self-worth. I want to create a learning environment where students can actively seek out new knowledge and create art in spaces that contain resources that capitalize on the ability of visual arts to promote cross-cultural learning.
